Debit cards are now available
We are excited to share that debit cards are now available for qualified members.
For Current Members:
To guarantee seamless delivery of your debit card, we need to confirm that you want a debit card and verify your mailing address. Debit cards will be sent to your official mailing address only.
To do this, we need you to visit the branch during normal operation hours and talk with one of our member services representatives. You will be provided important disclosure information for your account and sign for your order. Once complete, our member service representative will order your card.
Once ordered, debit cards should be delivered to your address within 7 to 10 business days.
For Brand New Members:
For members that open an account on or after March 15, 2023, the option to request a debit card will be integrated into your account opening process. Once your account is open and if you elect to receive a debit card, you should receive your debit card within 7 to 10 business days.
Debit Card FAQs
When can I expect my debit card?
Debit cards will be available for order on March 15, 2023. Once you complete the steps outlined above, you can expect your debit card delivered to your mailing address in approximately 7 to 10 business days.
Why do I have to indicate that I want one? Can’t you just send it?
Since debit cards were not available at the opening of your account, we want to verify that you want a debit card. Additionally, your privacy and security is of our utmost importance. This verification step ensures that only you are requesting the debit card and that your card will be delivered to the correct address.
How do I know my debit card has been ordered?
When you come into the branch our member service representative will place your card order while you are in the branch.
When will I be able to use my debit card?
Once received in the mail, follow the instructions with your card to activate your card. Once activated, your card can be used to make withdrawals or purchases immediately.
How will I set my debit card PIN?
When you receive your debit card, you will also receive instructions to activate your card and to create a PIN.
Where can I use my debit card?
Debit cards can be used any where that Mastercard is accepted.
Can I add an additional user to my debit card?
No. If there are two members on your account, both members will be provided an opportunity to have a debit card. The cards will draw on the same account but will be different cards with different numbers.
Are there limits for how much money I can withdraw in a single transaction or single day?
Yes. When you use your PIN for a purchase there is a $750* 24-hour rolling limit. There is no limit to the number of transactions in a 24-hour period.
For a signature purchase, where you sign or swipe but do not use your PIN, there is a $2,500* 24-hour rolling limit.
If you need to adjust your daily limit for a planned purchase, please call our branch to speak with a Member Services Representative.
*Limits are based on the availability of funds. Members may not overdraw their account.
What should I do if my debit card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen, during business hours, please contact the branch at (833) 888-0989. You can also call 833-888-0978 24 hours a day.
How do I update my address or other information on my account?
To update your address or other information associated with your account, please call or visit our branch during operating hours.
