Q: What is Community First Fund Credit Union? What makes it different from other banks or credit unions?

A: Community First Fund Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union based in downtown Lancaster. We offer those who live, work, learn, and worship in Lancaster County a new way to bank. Founded by local nonprofit lender Community First Fund, we provide financial products and services, modern banking features and personalized member relationships to our community.

Q: How do I become a member?

A: To become a member, you must open a basic savings account or business savings account and must live, work, learn, or worship in Lancaster County.

Q: Are you open for business?

A: Yes, we are open for business! We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Saturday hours will be added later in 2022.

Q: What kind of products are available right now?

A: We offer the following products: savings accounts, checking accounts, business accounts and consumer loans. Business loans are available through our founding organization Community First Fund.

Q: Is my money safe?

A: Yes, all deposits are insured up to $250,000 by the NCUSIF (National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund).

Q: When will I get a debit card?

A: All members will receive their personalized debit card by late Spring/early Summer 2022. Until these cards are available, we are providing reloadable cards, which can be used just like a debit card. Please talk to a member of our team for more information.

Q: Do you have online and/or mobile banking?

A: Yes. Once you open an account, you can enroll in online banking and download our mobile app.
